Jose Silva. Loan Consultant. Residential and Commercial. Jose is a University of Florida graduate with over eight years experience in different aspects of the mortgage industry. He started his mortgage career as an account executive for Yale Mortgage Corp, a wholesale hard equity lender in Miami, FL. Later, he went on to work for Emigrant Funding Corp. as an account executive in the commercial real estate division. Subsequently, he joined Pacific National Bank as an Assistant Vice President, where he managed a commercial loan portfolio. As a commercial lender, he financed various property types, such as shopping centers, office buildings, mixed-use, multifamily, and construction projects. Prior to joining Blue Skye Lending he was the co-founder of a website that specialized in the marketing of REO and distressed properties.

In the past, Jose has been a member of the Florida Association of Mortgage Brokers, where he served on the Miami Chapter Board of Directors from 2004 to 2007. He was also a State Director with FAMB from 2005 to 2007. As part of his involvement with the association, he met with various state legislators in Tallahassee, to lobby on behalf of the mortgage professionals in the state of Florida.

Jose will use his experience, industry relationships, and great work ethic to give customers excellent service and help them obtain the best financing available to them.  He is also fluent in Spanish.
