Mr. Parker is utilizing his broad real estate background to pursue builder and individual opportunities for Blue Skye Lending. Owner/CEO, Brightwaters Holding Company;Brightwaters Holding Company, formed in 1991, is a real estate & venture capital investment vehicle. Mr. Parker has participated as an investor in numerous venture capital projects during his career, including The Gemesis Corporation. Mr. Parker has an extensive background in commercial real estate, both development and brokerage. As a licensed real estate broker and investor, Mr. Parker has participated in the purchase, sale and leasing of commercial office properties, development of a 614 lot residential community and an 18-hole golf course. Mr. Parker continues to serve as General Partner of Sixth Avenue Holdings, a local real estate partnership, and continues to be a board member of Bruce Williams Homes. Mr. Parker has served in various community leadership positions. He is a participating member of The Homeless Leadership Network for Pinellas County; a leadership group tasked with implementing a 10-Year Plan to eliminate homelessness. He organized and led a Pinellas County leadership delegation to Miami-Dade to that county’s homeless assistance centers and met with political and business leaders from Miami-Dade. As President of Placido Bayou Community Association, Mr. Parker managed an annual budget of $400,000.00 and a $90,000.00 infrastructure and shoreline protection construction project. Mr. Parker has served as Treasurer of Citizens for Pier Park, served as campaign assistant to two local city councilmen, and has been a little league soccer coach for 6 years. In addition, Mr. Parker has participated on Chamber of Commerce committees, an allocation committee for The United Way and most recently as a reviewer for a H.U.D. funding/prioritization committee for county homeless programs. Most recently, he was appointed to the advisory committee of Access Pinellas and Treasurer, Pinellas County Homeless Coalition. Mr. Parker was a member of the Leadership St. Pete class of 2006 and was selected to be a member of the 2007 Leadership St. Pete Planning Committee. Mr. Parker is an ongoing member of Mayor Rick Baker’s outside Policy Committee and on the Finance Committee of U.S. Senator Evan Bayh’s 2008 Presidential exploratory efforts.
